How to use the AI Assistant
Using the AI Assistant
The AI Assistant is designed to help you work smarter, not harder, by handling the behind-the-scenes tasks that eat up your valuable time. Think of it as a secure, compliant version of ChatGPT, built specifically for therapists. Use it to create resources, ask questions, and anything in-between. It follows the same security standards as the rest of Klarify, so you can share client information safely and get the help you need.
Step 1: Open Assistant
- Go to your dashboard
- Click "AI Assistant" tab
- You'll see a chat interface
Step 2: Load Session Data (if needed)
- Click the "+" button in chat
- Select session you want to dive into
- Start asking questions
What You Can Ask
Each question in this guide is crafted to show you the full potential of your AI Assistant.
You can copy and paste these questions directly, or use them as inspiration to create your own. The more specific your question, the better your results will be.
Treatment Planning:
- "Create a CBT treatment plan based on my last 3 sessions with [client]"
- "What patterns do you see across these sessions?"
- "Suggest interventions for anxiety symptoms"
Resource Creation:
- "Make a homework worksheet for panic attacks"
- "Create a mindfulness exercise for this client"
- "Design a mood tracking sheet"
Case Analysis:
- "Analyze the therapeutic relationship dynamics"
- "What core beliefs are emerging?"
- "Suggest session goals for next week"
Getting Better Results
- Be specific: Instead of "help with this client," try "create a CBT treatment plan for anxiety based on these session notes."
- Load your data: Use the [+] button to include actual session notes or client information for personalized responses.
- Ask follow-up questions: If the first response isn't quite right, ask the AI to adjust or expand on specific parts.
- Edit and refine: Think of the AI's responses as your starting point. Add your clinical expertise and personal touch.
